About

Alias4us is the story of two friends, Filippo Ninni (Fenni) and Fabio Vanni (FX), whose musical journey began during their university years in Pisa in the late 1990s. Although life led them down different and demanding professional paths, songwriting remained a constant companion.

For more than twenty-five years, they continued writing music, collecting melodies, lyrics and emotions inspired by love, loss, hope and the unexpected turns of life. Their songs grew alongside their lives, reflecting personal experiences, changing perspectives and a shared passion for creating music.

Their musical influences range from acoustic and classic rock to progressive sounds and cinematic atmospheres. Rather than following trends, Alias4us focus on authentic stories, expressive arrangements and the emotional dimension of songwriting.

Over the years, their production methods evolved alongside music technology, from cassette recordings and home-studio experimentation to digital audio workstations, virtual instruments and increasingly sophisticated recording tools. Yet the core of their process remained the same: the songs originate with Fenni and FX.

Every track begins with human creativity. They write the music and lyrics, develop the arrangements and record complete demos before introducing generative AI into the production process. Their original material can include recordings made with their own guitars and samples derived from their instruments, as well as vocal samples based on their own voices.

Balancing music with professional careers, family life and everyday responsibilities has not always left them with the time and resources needed to complete their songs through conventional production methods. Generative AI offered them a way to overcome some of these constraints and bring compositions developed over many years to their final sonic and vocal rendition.

In their production workflow, they have used Suno to explore sounds, vocal interpretations and prod
