I am Anne, an AI music creator from the Netherlands. I was a professional musician until I was diagnosed with an illness, and my body was affected to such an extent that I ended up in a wheelchair and could no longer play my musical instruments (violin, guitar, and clarinet). For a number of years, I thought my music career was over, until I discovered Suno over two years ago. Initially, I used it to set my poems to music (writing is also my passion), but I soon started creating completely new songs. I now work in a hybrid way, using audio uploads of previous violin and guitar recordings and current handpan recordings, and by singing the songs myself using my own voice. I also edit my songs entirely in Studio. I have developed my own sound and brand, and for the past year, I have also been publishing my music on streaming platforms. Additionally, I have discovered that I can make videos myself using AI, and I have my own YouTube channel.
Above all, I want to convey that life really doesn't stop when you become chronically ill, and although I live with a lot of pain and discomfort every day, I find immense pleasure in making music with the help of AI. This has truly changed my life in a very positive way.
