Big news first: Spice Week is moving from YouTube to Twitch. It's on Sunday 15 November at 7am Brisbane time, and the reason is simple. I can't preview everyone's videos before the show, and I don't want to spend the stream worrying about what YouTube might get angry about. Twitch gives everyone more room to bring the heat. Submissions still go through AI Play as usual, and I'll share the Twitch link when I have it.
On the channel this week we launched WildCard, a new segment where a community panel picks the tracks instead of me. Weeks 1 and 2 are both out now. There's also a 4.2 hour Open Mic where you could co-host, a conversation with Brian from Rocket Horse about going from 12K to over 1 million streams, and a breakdown of how I made an AI music video for under $50.
🎄 Calling all Christmas songs
I'm looking for Christmas songs to play all through December! My aim is to get as many as I can onto the Featured Five, and if there are too many great ones to fit, the Featured Five might just become the Featured Seven.
Got a festive track? Send it in through the submission form. Your best Christmas song, any style.
This week's videos
WildCard Week 1: The AI Music Community Picks!
Week 1 of WildCard, where community members review submissions and choose the five tracks instead of me. It's a chance to hear music outside our usual tastes and see how the panel judges it. Have a listen and tell me if you like the community picking. (7 min)
AiDIY Open Mic Live - Playing Your AI Music - AND Join Us In Studio
A full Open Mic with no genre restrictions, running 4.2 hours. We kicked off by playing songs we missed last week, and people from the chat could jump in and co-host. If the format clicks, it might become a once-a-month feature. (Live, 4.2 hours)
Week 108: 5 AI Artists Creating Something Special!
Week 108 of the Featured Artist Series, with five tracks from the AI music community. I listen to every submission through aidiy.tech, and this is where I share what stood out. Let me know which track hit you hardest. (12 min)
From 12K to 1 Million Streams: How AI Changed His Music Career | @RocketHorseMusic1
Part 1 of my conversation with Brian from Rocket Horse, who went from 12,000 streams to over 1 million. We talk about hooks and melodies, working with traditional studio musicians, and how AI helped him afford production he otherwise couldn't. He also shares how he handles criticism for using these tools. (39 min)
I Made an AI Music Video for $50 (Stop Wasting Your Credits!)
I made an AI music video for under $50 using OpenArt and break down the numbers against traditional production budgets. The big lesson: planning is free, guessing is what costs you. I cut my credit usage from around 60,000 to just over 20,000 by planning shots properly. (11 min)
WildCard Week 2: 5 More AI Music Tracks Chosen by the Community!
Week 2 of WildCard, with five more tracks chosen by the community panel. It's another set of picks from outside the usual tastes, and your feedback helps shape the segment. Did the panel get it right this week? (6 min)

Every one of them is in the AiDIY Hall of Fame.
Want to be featured?
I feature registered members all the time, in the Featured Five, on live shows, in co-host spots, and in shout-outs. A free account on aidiy.tech is how I find people and how I keep track of who's making what. If you haven't set one up yet, it takes a minute and it puts you on my radar.

That's the week. Go listen to some WildCard picks, get your Spice Week submissions in through AI Play, and I'll see you on Twitch on the 15th.
